View Facebook on SedThink Video

[edit] Before using facebook module please set you facebook layout on web to be new layout

• Click the facebook icon on fisheye menu to open the facebook module

• For the first time you'll see the grant permission page you have to login to facebook and allow sedthink to access you facebook before using sedthink. Log in to your facebook

• Click allow button. When finsihed your will see the result like the following picture. Click the Let's Rock button. (If you missed this process you can do it later by using .grantAccess in quickbar)

• Sedthink will let's you to enter the username and password again. Enter you facebook email and password to to login.

• Now you are online on facebook (If there are some problem error such as cookie not enable alert / Temporary maintenace you can try .reLogin to resolve the problem)

• All of control on facebook module will do via quick bar control (press shift + space to call it). Some time when facebook module is not on focused you'll can't open quick bar control (for example when notification alert, your OS will automatically focus to the alert and facebook module'll not on focused anymore). you can easily fixed that by click on facebook module (any where between the advertise and fisheye menu). and now facebook module is back to focused which allow you to press shift + space to open the quick bar control. You can easily open your friend home by just typing there name in quick bar

PS. if you want to close quick bar just press ESC button

• For facbook IM, you can easily chat with your friends by click at friend name in IM widow (Buddy list).

It'll open the chat window with tab which allow you to chat with your friends. Moreover, sedthink will notify you when your friend online or send message to you.

• For photo function sedthink will help you to browse you friend photo by just type ".photo [friendname]" on quick bar control (if you type just .photo, It'll show all your friends photo albums). Sedthink will open photo navigate widow which have 3 rows. The first row will display the preview photo. The second row will display the photos in the album. The third row will display your friends albums. You can view the larger photo by click at the preview photo, sedthink will open the full photo window for you. (You can resize window by drag at the triangle on the bottom right conner to resize the window).

• If you want to download photo from facebook to your computer you just click save file (save only current preview file) or save albums (save all of file in the album). Sedthink will automatically opne the download window and download photos to your computer.

• You can easily create you album on facebook by using ".createAlbum [albumName]" command. Sedthink will open create album window, you and enter more information such as location, description on this window. If you already have albums on facebook but you just need to add photo to exists album use the ".uploadPhoto" instead

• After you create album sedthink will resize itself from maximize window to be normall window and show you the album details and photo drop area. Now you can drag you photos from your computer and drop to photo drop areas. You will see a little link on the top right (Approve Sedthink). If you not approve the sedthink before upload all of your photos which you uploads from sedthink will have to manually approve on facebook again before the others can see. Just approve it one time then you don't have to approve all photos you upload from sedthink on facebook

• After you finish dropping file you can click the maximize button (on top right) to maximize the window. You can click x button in the dropping area to close dropping area (you can open it back by click show drop panel button). Now you'll see the photos which waiting for upload, if you want to remove photo just click remove button. Click upload button to upload photos to facebook.

• There are other useful commands which you can try by yourself just enter "." on quick bar control. It'll display all module command

1. .status [your status] (this command for quick update your status. For the first time you use this command facebook will ask you to approve and the first status will not set.)
2. .wall [friend] [msg] (this command for posting message to your friend wall)
3. .web (open your home on facebook)
